Objective: I am looking for a dynamic work opportunity that enables my art, painting, and/or graphic design skill that I have developed in College. I am seeking employment that utilizes my skills, while maximizing my potential for growth and development as an artist, and as a worker.

Working in the Art Office at California Institute of the Arts, I have become very familiar the faculty and staff and learned how the art school operates. My duties include:
⁃ Answering phones, forwarding calls and taking down messages.
⁃ Retrieving, sending, and sorting mail.
⁃ Operating office equipment.
⁃ Running documents to other offices.
Spa Attendant/Operations Employee ~ Burke Williams Day Spa ~ Pasadena, California (July 9, 2011- September 1, 2012).
As a Spa Attendant of Burke Williams' Operations and Guest Services, I was responsible for many daily tasks and responsibilities, including:
⁃ Acted as attendant, usher, and greeter for private parties.
⁃ Helping guests in need of assistance.
⁃ Washing, Cleaning, Drying, and Folding towels.
⁃ Cleaning the work area, as well as the guest area.
The skills that I have developed at Burke Williams, has enabled me to become a diligent worker. Although my job description does not require customer service responsibility, Burke Williams has become orientated with customer service, and hospitality in every aspect of their facilities. I currently work 35-45 hours a week completing the daily tasks of laundry, guest service, and operations for the Pasadena location.

While attending CSUSB, and after graduating, I have utilized my raw talent as an avenue for employment. As I developed my skills in graphic design and painting at CSUSB, I became involved in clubs, organizations, and event planning. I also became well-known for having a unique and modern style of painting. With my campus involvement and distinct genre of painting, I became a resource for people who were in need of graphic designers and painters. As a freelance artist, I have been commissioned to do the following work:

As a freelance artist, I have been able to utilize my skills, talent, and passion, and make money while doing so. My previous and current employment have molded me into a
Public Relations Chair, Residence Hall Association (RHA) ~ California State University ~ San Bernardino, CA (May 5, 2009- June 17, 2010)
During my year in office as RHA Public Relations Chair, I assisted CSUSB’s Residential Housing through advertisement, and graphic design. As Public Relations Chair of CSUSB’s Housing Association, I helped RHA re-brand itself through advertisement. My responsibilities as Public Relations Chair include:
⁃ Create a new logo for our organization.
⁃ Create daily/weekly publicity for events.
⁃ Paint a school mural.
⁃ Create large scale posters
While in office, I challenged myself creatively, and artistically. I developed unique eye-catching publicity in effort to promote events that our school was having. Through this position I improved my artistic and graphic design skills, while also learning about advertisement and the importance of effective visual marketing.
